Top 7 Best Ways to Boost Your Google SEO Score

These are the nine most common mistakes made by novice bloggers, and are fairly straightforward to fix. But one must also know how to execute the improvement process by knowing what you are doing, and more importantly why you are doing it. Many of these features are missing on new blogs and current and optimizing them can result in a Google rating above 80%, provided your blog is professionally compiled.

1 # Blog Title

The home page title of a site usually appears in the header, but it must also be an H1 header. And this is where your short tail keywords will serve you well. Also, your title must not exceed 60 characters including all locations because it is the maximum allowed by all major search engines. However, it is safer to not have more than 55 characters, just to be safe and your site can be indexed by all the major search engines. Try to target your niche and a common need, then make those keywords your site title baseline.

2 # H2 header

Your blog post title should be the H2 header, and again you should target your niche and keywords. Only this time you should try to implement your long tail keyword. Never use Unfriendly S.E.O characters in any H1 or H2 header content. These are any characters you enter using the “Shift” button on the keypad such as apostrophes, question marks, and even underscores. If you have a good anchor text, it would also be great to use in reference to your H2 header.

When your SEO is done properly using plugins, each post will be a separate URL by itself. This is why it is so important not to use Unfriendly S.E.O characters. These characters will amount to a lower S.E.O score, as your blog score will decrease significantly as a result of unfavorable URLs.

Your post title is also not a sales pitch, it should indicate the basic message of your post. Think about the idea you want to inspire your audience, and remember, it always works to offer something useful as a solution to a problem!

Post Content – Now domain and page authority are other areas that need attention, and which can be extended by posting content longer than 1000 – 2000 words. This will boost your domain authority, where high quality comments will boost your page authority. This is also why installing a spam blocker plug-in is so important, and implement “all comments to be approved first” inside your C-Panel settings.

When you do this manually, simply click on the website provided in the comment (open in a new window) and see if the site is actually active. Then check that the site is actually indexed in the Major Search Engine. The same goes for emails used in comments, testing and verifying validity. Should none of these be activated, then delete the comment because the broken links are harmful to your blog S.E.O score.

And a word of advice on your post content; Never mention any other pages or offers on your blog, because you want to use your high quality post and also publish it as an article. This will make your content useful when published and build credibility.

3 # Meta Description

A meta description is the kind of summary your visitor can expect, and again you get all the SEOs. Characters should be avoided. The meta description must not exceed 160 characters, but a minimum count with a site title is appropriate, such as a maximum of 155 characters.

During these steps, your short tail, long tail and anchor text keywords should populate your titles and content with its entirety. You want to target a specific audience which is the only way to reduce the bounce rate of your visitors.

Wait, what’s the “bounce rate”? – The bounce rate is basically a visitor who opens your blog URL, but closes it almost immediately. You want visitors who open your site links and stay because your content inspires interest.

Someone looking for a dieting product would not be interested in something like a new flat screen TV for example, and that visitor would simply leave your site and another bounce would become statistic. I can’t put enough exclamations on the keyword, because many newbies don’t do this research and a single most common mistake results in an average 3% success rate.

Generating online income as an affiliate marketer or blogger is a science, not a competition and no end destination. Just hard work, lots of research and continuous learning.

4 # Meta Keywords

It almost came as a surprise to me, but Google no longer accepts meta keywords. Conversely, the presence of meta keywords will drop your site’s S.E.O score. If you use meta keywords on your site, you might want to remove them and check your site S.E.O score again.

5 # Image “Alt” Attribute

This was a mistake I made as well, as the required “Alt” attribute must be present in all pictures. It is like a phrase that best describes the image. Now to test it, you simply click on your “Media” on your blog C-panel and from there open each image individually. As you browse your images, add the Alt attribute.

With banners this can be a bit more complicated, as you need to edit the image HTML code but don’t panic yet. It sounds a lot more technical than it actually is. Image HTML is simply the code for the banner that you copy into your text widget, and also some affiliate offers but not all of them.

6 # Being a favicon

Adding favicon to your blog will increase your Google rating by 15 – 20%, and it is the easiest thing to do. In fact, most of the stages of optimization are fairly basic and easy to actualize. You may find that some themes do not provide the option to add favicons, and this only means a little more work. You just need to change your theme, and I can name at least 3 themes that support the addition of favicon.

You’ll find themes to support both the logo and favicon (Redwaves by Themient, ColorMag by ThemeGrill, and Spacious by ThemeGrill), both of which are very important. Now offer some advice on your logo as an affiliate. Always brand your own name, not just a particular product, as it broadens your options considerably.

But what is a favicon? – Let’s use WordPress as an example. When you open a WordPress login or home page, the title tab of the site will display a little icon at the top of your browser. A small blue square with the “W” WordPress symbol. It is a favicon and is also used as an image to create an app, so should you choose so. All of my personal blogs have a Google rating of less than 72%, which means it is a Grade A site and meets the Gold Standard. Now any webmaster or professional blogger will tell you that any record above 70% will rank in time. As I mentioned earlier, simple steps for surprising results but even with record time we are talking about 3 – 6 months.

How to add a favicon – just scroll your cursor to “CURRENCY”, and then click “Header” in the dropdown menu. Now you will see your blog display with the drop down menu on the left. Now you have to click on “Site Identity” in the settings where you will get the option to add the site icon, which is favicon. Images preferably around 200 x 200 pixels.

If you don’t have your favicon or sign, don’t despair because I’ll quickly show you how to make one at any cost. Simply put – this free logo design site – just enter the company name and category and the rest is autopilot. Rather than branding your name as I mentioned earlier, enter your name in the company name section. Just create your favicon, download it and set it as your site icon in WordPress.

You can use the same image as your site logo, but don’t forget to add “Alt Attribute” to your images in the image settings. The entire feature in your images is one of many tips used to boost your Google rating. But this will be a separate topic for upcoming posts.

7 # Domain Authority and Page Authority

Domain and Page Authority Below 20 – These two combined features are slightly more difficult to obtain. This is where a little more effort is required. You can be alert to spam comments by getting legitimate comments to your domain and page authority, which in most cases are faceless profiles. A spam comment is also a “comment” in most cases, which normally opens as a page error 404 with the generated email address and website URL.

Domain and page authority is also more than 1000 words by increasing the word count of all its blog posts and pages. You can go up to 2000 words, and increase the authority of your site.

When you have completed these few steps, and S.E.O recognize the score checker changes? Yes, you guessed it, your blog will have a Google rating of 80% or more. 5 simple steps to being a grade A rated site on Google, which will soon prove to be a valuable adjustment to your site’s ranking and even indexing time.

All it takes is now to find engines that know about your site, and this will make it easier to categorize your site for indexing and / or ranking.

Conclusion – There are actually many of these steps that will lead you to a Google rating of 100%, where domain and page authority is like your last step towards that goal. Once all the other features and settings are retained, you will get interesting and useful information.

Which is also how you are recognized as a professional, and it is one of the key elements of real sales online. Because this is how your site gains authorization, through content that is only “secret” to online success.

Your visitor wants to know more, and may even see your other posts and pages. But how do you know that your audience is really interested in your content, right?

Well, inside the analysis of your blog you want to pay attention to the ratio of your visitor / views. Your views should be higher than your visitor count, the greater the difference, the greater the interest of your audience as they are returning to your blog.

Returning visitors are also more likely to join your list and comment on your blog, you have a web form on your blog sidebar, right? If you don’t, then you really should be and it’s actually quite simple but the “rule of content” is the same. Make your web form attractive and interesting, apply a little color psychology.
